  1. We think some different expectations are that he can take the bulling and be a human punching bag. He decides to change school because Mr.P says he won't get anywhere if he doesn't leave the reservation. He is smarter than everyone else and has hope. It's a major decision because he will be going to an all white school and he already understands how white people treat Indians. We think he will get bullied, because of his appearance and he will eventually find a friend who will protect him like Rowdy.

  2. 1:
He expects himself to be as good as his sister
    2:
Because he wants to succeed and he wants to be better, he's going to a new school for the better education
    3:
Because his friend Roudy was really mad at him. The other schools beat them at sports. He doesn't have a best friend anymore.
    4:
He will become a bit more successful, he will probably be bullied because the majority of this school is white.

  3. Junior seems to expect himself to achieve more than his previous community on the Rez. His parents have lower expectations of him because of how and where they grew up. They seemed hesitant to let him to go Reardan, but they let him go anyway.

He chose to change schools because of an inspirational talk from his geometry teacher, Mr. P. Mr. P attempted to convince Junior that he deserved better than he could receive on the Rez. Junior's self-esteem was raised and he decided he was ready for a change.

Reardan was a rich, white kid school. The typical student that attends Reardan is basically the opposite of him. He had to leave his best friend, Rowdy, who ended up beating him up when he found out. He knows he's going to be at the bottom of the food chain in the school, as he already is in the Rez.

Junior is going to be picked on a lot, and Rowdy may become more out of control than he is. I think he will succeed in school, and possibly leave the Rez for good.

  4. The different expectations that junior faces is that he has to be smart so that he can prove others also that he wants to be better.
He decides to change schools because mr.p convinces him to have a better life and because there are white people who are even poorer than the Indians.
It's a major decision because his parents want a better life for him and his sister.
They are going to bully him at the new school because he looks different.
