Run-on sentences and Revisions

  1. Creative Blog Posting Due Friday
  4. Talk-back on Writer’s Craft or Adversity Essay
Requirements:

  • Create a doc in your quarter 2 folder called “Talk-Back” and answer the following questions:
    • Look at the rubric and the comments you received on your essay.
    • What are your strengths in this essay?What are your weaknesses?
    • What feedback did you receive?
    • Do you agree with the feedback you received? Why or why/not?
    • What could you do to improve this piece?
  • Revision (for HW):
    • If you choose to revise, create a copy of your final draft and call it “Revised Writer’s Craft” or “Revised Adversity Essay”
    • Revise the essay
    • At the top of the essay, write a short paragraph that explains how you improved your essay.
    • The revisions are due next class. You MUST hand back your grading rubric with the revision and have done the paragraph that explains improvements if you wish to get credit for the revision.
